ONIE encourages healthy living for individuals and families, especially those working within low-income budgets. I was tasked with writing a video that promoted sneaking more vegetables into kid-friendly meals, which parents know is no easy feat, as picky eaters hold nothing back. So we leaned into that, making children the judges in a competition-style cooking show, where taste ruled all. To widen accessibility, the script also needed a Spanish version. Let’s just say I deeply regretted choosing German in high school. (Warum? WARUM have ich Deutsch gelernt?) Despite my language choices, we delivered a fun, relatable video that helped families make nutritious meals their kids would actually eat.
